article element -

The
element is used to define a self-contained document or application that can be independently reused in other places. For example, news headlines or blog posts that can be reused in syndication, application widgets or services accessed by other applications. The main difference between an
and a
is the
can be indepently reused on it's own in other places.

The diagram above shows the places the
element are commonly used. It is interesting to note that the
element can contain
elements, as long as the different sections add up together to form an independent reusable article. Vice versa, it is also possible for a section to contain several independent articles.
